EdEN Labs K-8 Teacher Programs
How can we help expand evidence-based nutrition research through school garden programs across Texas and the US? Working with The University of Texas at Austin’s Eden Lab, we helped craft a content strategy from a library of resources and curriculum that they had developed for school garden training for teachers and college internship programs in order to scale their curriculum and resources beyond the teachers they currently work with. We then designed and launched an informational website and interactive scorecard to give teachers feedback about their gardens and resources to help make them more sustainable. Subsequent work with Eden Lab included exploring expanded offerings to teachers through more interactive tools, videos, and online curriculum as well as website upgrades.
