What are the motivations, hopes, fears, and interests of Chicago area residents – especially in historically marginalized communities – relating to brain health? We are partnering with the Chicago Council on Science and Technology (C2ST) to create a series of pilot engagement events in the Chicago area aiming to foster community interest with brain health and answer these questions. C2ST has intimate relationships with a range of historically marginalized communities in Chicago, and deep expertise in designing and hosting public science engagement events. We are conducting audience research and landscape review work to inform the design of these events, which will be flexibly responsive to our findings throughout.
