The Future of Life Institute aims to promote public dialogue about Artificial Intelligence that balances risks and opportunities in the short- and long terms. Working with FLI, futurists, and stakeholders we are developing rich scenario vignettes that explore the evolution and consequences of "Runaway AI" as well as variants on the optimistic "Official Future." We are also protoyping tools and processes to inspire and guide conversations about possible AI futures among policy makers, journalists and commentators, and public audiences.
